Den 10. oktober er national helligdag i Nordkorea. I år er det 75-års dagen for stiftelse af partiet. Traditionen tro, er 75-års dage, de fejringer som er størst i Nordkorea. Vi kan ikke garantere en militærparade, men vi kan garantere at der vil være opvisning, fejring og samtlige nordkoreanere vil tage deres fornemmeste udsmykning på i form af nationale klæder.

Derudover vil vi på denne efterårsrejse, kun for danskere, opleve Pyongyang, overnatte i Kaesong, besøge DMZ (et af verdens mest militære områder), møde lokalbefolkningen og meget meget mere. Hvis du vil have en helt anderledes rejse, så skal du tage med på denne efterårsrejse til Nordkorea.

Vi mødes på Hilton Garden Inn, Dandong. Efter indtjekning er der fællesmiddag på menuen. Middagen vil foregå på en nordkoreansk drevet restaurant, som er et af de få steder i verden, hvor nordkoreanere arbejder uden for landets grænser.

Dagen hvor vi skal krydse grænsen til Nordkorea.

På togturen fra Dandong til Pyongyang, vil der være unik mulighed for at interagere med rejsende nordkoreanere. Hvis man er tilpas, ydmyg og opsøgende, er der enestående mulighed for at komme helt tæt på nordkoreanernes personlige liv. Efter ankomst vil vi besøge Pyongyangs triumf bue, Arch of Triumph.  Dagen sluttes af med fællesmiddag sammen med vores nordkoreanske guider og en gåtur langs Changjon Street til Kim Il Sung Square – pladsen hvor alle parader og optog bliver afholdt.

Den 10. oktober er en helligdag i Nordkorea. Det er 75. års dagen for fejringen af partiets stiftelse. Det parti som er ledende i Nordkorea og altid har været.

Ved 75. års dage er fejringen sædvanligvis ekstra stor. Samtidig har Nordkoreas leder Kim Jong Un, udtalt at netop denne dag skal fejres ekstra meget. Hvordan dagen præcis kommer til at forløbe, er derfor endnu usikkert – hvad der dog er sikkert er at dagen blive uden sammenligning.

Vi vil opdatere så snart vi ved præcist hvad der skal ske denne dag.

Ovenpå gårsdagens festligheder, fortsætter vi med endnu en begivenhedsrig dag.

Vi starter med rundvisning på Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, hvor vi skal høre om Korea krigen og hvor skelsættende den har været for den koreanske halvø – alt fra et nordkoreansk perspektiv.

Da det er søndag, og Kristihimmelfartferie, skal vi besøge Bongsu Church, en af de få kristne kirker i Nordkorea. Forhåbentlig får vi endda lov at deltage i en gudstjeneste.

Efter frokost kører vi til byen landsbyen Sariwon. Her vil vi besøge et landbrug. En lokal landmands familie vil vise os sit hjem, og vi kan se hvor og hvordan, han arbejder. Du får en helt ny vinkel på byer uden for Pyongyang og kommer til at forstå Nordkorea meget bedre efter denne dag. Alt sammen for at give en bredere forståelse for Nordkorea, som er meget forskellige fra landet til byen og det kommer til at forstærke oplevelsen af hele rejsen.

Efter besøget i Sariwon, kører vi til Kaesong – grænsebyen til Sydkorea. Her skal vi overnatte inden vi dagen efter skal besøge grænseområdet.

Dagen starter med en morgen gåtur i Kaesong City op ad Janam Hill for at opleve byen helt tæt på. Efter gåturen skal vi til et af de mest intense militære områder i verden, nemlig grænsezonen DMZ. Området ligger på grænsen mellem Nord- og Sydkorea, og er konstant overvåget af soldater fra begge sider. Vi kommer helt tæt på grænsen, og hvis du er heldig, kan du endda stå med et ben på hver side.

I Kaesong finder vi også Koryo museum. Det er et museum hvor historien om den koreanske kultur og historie før Korea krigen bliver fortalt.  Når vi besøger museet, vil du opleve den stærke forbindelse som Syd- og Nordkorea har haft før den splittende krig og bedre forstå, hvorfor Korea historisk set er ét land. Efterfølgende skal vi også have frokost i Kaesong inden vi kører tilbage til Pyongyang.

På vejen tilbage, vil vores guide fortælle om Nordkoreas genforeningspolitik, og hvordan landet skal blive genforenet – fra Nordkoreas perspektiv.

I Pyongyang skal vi se Juche Tower, som er verdens største murstens tårn. Hvis du har lyst, kan du komme op i toppen hvor du kan få en fuld udsigt over hele hovedstaden. Efter aftensmaden og en lang dag tager vi tilbage på hotellet.

Sidste hele dag i Pyongyang, hvilket blot betyder, at vi skal nå at opleve meget mere!

Dagen i dag handler om at interagere med lokalbefolkningen. Derfor starter vi ud med at besøge en folkeskole, hvor du kan få lov at snakke med de unge studerende.

Efter frokost skal vi vises rundt på Grand Peoples Central Study House. Det er en af de største og mest centrale bygninger i hele Pyongyang, og fungerer som det daglige bibliotek og voksen skole. Her skal vi også møde studerende som lærer engelsk, men de vil være nogle ældre studerende som er bedre til engelsk.

Om eftermiddagen kører vi til Children Palace, hvor vi først vil blive vist rundt. Her kan vi se de dygtige børn optræde og få undervisning i både dans, musik og meget andet. Rundvisningen slutter af med en forestilling på paladset.

Dagen afsluttes med middag sammen med vores guider, en øl fra den lokale bar og en gåtur på Future Scientist Street. Tilbage på hotellet kan vi tage et spil bowling, bade i swimmingpool eller spille bordtennis. Hvis du er blevet for træt til flere aktiviteter, kan du også vælge at drikke en sidste i øl i den roterende restaurant på 47. etage.
