Saudi Arabien har længe været et lukket land, når det kommer til turisme. De eneste udlændinge der har kunnet besøge landet, har været muslimske pilgrimsrejsende og udenlandske forretningsfolk, men nu kan du også rejse til Saudi Arabien! Det klassiske turistvisum er nu blevet tilgængeligt. Derfor har du nu muligheden for, at udforske denne nye rejsedestination på verdenskortet. Saudi Arabien er et land som de fleste nok har hørt om. Rundt omkring i verdenen er det kendt som “Det Hellige Land”, siden det er hjem til de hellige byer Mekka og Medina. Saudi Arabien er et land i en rivende udvikling. 

Saudi Arabien er det næststørste land i den arabiske verden og er ca. 50 gange større end Danmark. Derudover er det hjem til ca. 27 millioner mennesker, hvoraf omkring 7,5 millioner bor i hovedstaden Riyadh.
