Der er noget helt specielt ved at løbe på tomme veje i en millionby, der normalvis er fyldt med biler og busser, og det er netop hvad man vil opleve, når man løber maraton i Moskva.

Du kommer også til at se de vigtigste steder i Ruslands smukke hovedstad Moskva, hvor vi bl.a. besøger Den Røde Plads, Kreml og Moskvas Metro. Du vil også opleve den russiske kultur ved at prøve en russisk ‘Banya’ og tilberede et traditionelt russisk måltid.

Vi mødes på vores hotel, hvor vi checker ind, og hvor rejselederen vil gennemgå rejseprogrammet samt de første vigtige informationer.

Vi spiser aftensmad sammen på en lokal restaurant tæt på hotellet.

Vi starter dagen med morgenmad på hotellet og tager derefter ud for at se Kreml i Moskva. Kreml er et fæstningsværk, der både repræsenterer den russiske og tidligere sovjetiske politiske magt, og er residens for den russiske præsident.

Vi besøger også Den Røde Plads, hvor man finder den ikoniske Vasilij-Katedral, Lenins Mausoleum, det Statslige Historiske Museum, Stormagasinet GUM og Kazan-katedralen.

Efter et besøg i Alexanderhaven, spiser vi frokost på en lokal restaurant.

Herefter går vi en tur ned ad Arbat, som er én af de ældste gågader i Moskva, fyldt med musikere, kunstnere, butikker, restauranter og cafeer.

Om aftenen spiser vi aftensmad på en lokal restaurant tæt på hotellet.

Om aftenen fejrer vi, at vi har gennemført et maraton (eller 10 km) i Moskva med en lækker aftensmad på en lokal restaurant.

Vi spiser morgenmad på hotellet og tager derefter ud i en ‘Banya’, hvor vi nyder en tiltrængt afslapning efter løbet. En banya er en russisk bade stue med sauna, hvor man tilbringer flere timer med at bade, sidde i sauna og spise/drikke imens. Det er en af de ældste russiske traditioner som er godt for helbredet og perfekt til at afslappe kroppen efter et hårdt løb.

Om aftenen tager vi på et madlavningskursus, hvor vi lærer at lave en traditionel russisk aftensmad.

Vi spiser morgenmad på hotellet, checker ud og tager afsked med hinanden med bagagen fyldt med nye oplevelser og indtryk. Herfra kan man fortsætte sin rejse på egen hånd i Rusland eller flyve hjem til København.
