Georgia is an independent state in Eastern Europe and is bordering up Russia, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the Black Sea to the west. The capital is Tbilisi with 1,2 million inhabitants. Georgia is a former Soviet republic with the former leader of the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin, who was born and raised in Georgia. The official language is Georgian and is written in its own writing system and the most beautiful letters! Moreover, Georgia is known for its delicious food, hilly landscape, and brilliant wine!
